My local pub has hosted an impromptu beer festival. I’ll have a lovely pint and a bag of crisps please.
When in Stuttgart, no visit is complete without a stop at the Wichtel Hausbrauerei, for a litre of their rather lovely Hefeweizen.
When in Manchester, of course, it’s time for a cheeky Nando’s.
So, here’s the German take on a pepperoni pizza. Not too bad actually.
If they can do a decent pizza in Stuttgart, at least I won’t starve.
Today was definitely a “hammer” day; a few veritable successes which makes something of a change of late.
So, better enjoy it whilst it lasts!
As a former (all too brief) resident of Paris, I was shocked and appalled by the senseless terrorist attacks overnight.
What will this prove? Nothing.
We stand with our friends in Paris today.
